What a great mob fronted up pretty quick smart on this beautiful Saturday afternoon – a bit of an early start at 4pm BUT right now it gets a bit chilly after sunset …. and the footy was on later which I’m sure a lot wouldn’t want to miss either.

They knew all the songs and there was plenty of clapping and singing along …. the exceptions being for Phil’s own compositions, both well received; Life’s Good and Jacquie My Love (Today We Wed) – the second of which he wrote for his wife Jacquie (that would be me) and this was our actual ‘walking down the aisle’ wedding song.

The rain disappeared (for a few hours) Saturday 2nd July to leave us to a beautiful evening to be out and about. According to Margaret who did a head count, around 70 guests ventured out of their various abodes (caravans, motorhomes, campervans, trailers, tents and cabins) bringing their chairs and beverages to enjoy some good old (and some new) baby boomer rock and ballads.
